Monika H. Entin was born in Havana, Cuba on May 3, 1975.  Ms. Entin graduated from Florida International University in 1998 with a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice.  During her time at Florida International University Ms. Entin served on numerous political campaigns from local officials to State Representatives.

Subsequently, Ms. Entin earned a merit scholarship to attend St. Thomas University School of Law.  While at St. Thomas, Ms. Entin was an active member and Vice-President of the Jewish Law Society and served as the Clerk for Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.  As a member and officer of Phi Alpha Delta Law, Ms. Entin helped to sponsor and effectively coordinated a nationally recognized community service program known as the Law Related Elementary School Initiative Program.

Ms. Entin graduated and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2001, and later admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida in 2002.  She later became an active board member of the North Miami Beach Bar Association and is a member of the Miami Beach Bar Association.

Ms. Entin is an experienced litigator, who after graduation specialized in medical malpractice, personal injury, commercial litigation and insurance defense.  Her practice has included case management from inception through the trial and appellate stages.
In August 2007, Ms. Entin joined the firm of Rosen Switkes & Entin P.L., where she currently practices in the areas of land use and serves as the Deputy City Attorney for the City of North Bay Village.
